First Impressions

While I haven’t had the chance to test the Invader 16mm yet, its specs suggest a paddle built for players who want a blend of precision and power. The hybrid face construction and fiberglass layer should provide a "poppy" response, while the unibody thermoformed design promises durability and consistency across the entire paddle face.

The Invader’s graphics, UV-printed directly onto the surface, add a futuristic flair to its appearance. It’s clear that Bread & Butter is aiming to conquer the competition with this one—#convertthemall indeed.

What to Expect in the Full Review

Once I’ve tested the Invader, I’ll cover:

  • Drive Power: Can it really launch balls like a rocket ship?
  • Drop Performance: Is it soft and precise enough for touch shots?
  • Spin Potential: How effective is the face material for generating spin?
  • Comfort & Feel: Does the octagon handle improve grip and reduce vibration?
  • Comparisons: How does it stack up against similar paddles in the $180+ range?

Final Thoughts (For Now)

The Invader 16mm is shaping up to be an exciting addition to the Bread & Butter lineup, targeting players who value a mix of pop, control, and cutting-edge tech. I can’t wait to test it out and share my findings. Until then, keep an eye on this space for updates, or subscribe to my newsletter to be notified as soon as the review goes live.

Their story started when their recently divorced parents met at an insurance adjuster's conference in Boise. Their parents fell in love and were married during a layover in Vegas. When they returned home, the two became stepbrothers and were forced to move in together. “When we first met, we hated each other” recalls Brodie,“ I tried to slash Doug's drum set with my Randy Jackson-signed samurai sword.” “I tried to bury Brodie alive in our front yard after a heated argument over the artistic merits of the show Baywatch” said Doug.
