11SIX24 Pickleball was founded out of necessity and officially launched in April 2023. The idea originated from a personal experience shared by many pickleball enthusiasts. David Groechel, the founder, invested in a $220 paddle, expecting high quality for the high price. Unfortunately, the paddle cracked after just three months of regular play, which led him to question the value of expensive pickleball equipment.
Facing the prospect of repeatedly buying costly paddles that might break, David decided there had to be a better solution. He wanted to address not only the price but also the quality, durability, and reliability of pickleball paddles. This frustration and determination sparked the creation of 11SIX24 Pickleball.
David’s goal was to offer high-quality, durable equipment at an affordable price, filling a significant gap in the market. 11SIX24 Pickleball is not just another brand; it represents a commitment to quality, affordability, and trust. The mission is to change the game, one paddle at a time, by providing players with reliable equipment they can count on.
The name 11SIX24 has a unique origin. David once guessed the exact number of jellybeans in a jar—11,624.
